Functional Blood Insight · €49
Functional Blood Insight: your values read against what's optimal, not just what passes as normal.
Your doctor tells you the values are within range, and you still feel tired, foggy, off. We read every marker on your report against functional ranges (often tighter than what the lab prints as normal), and build a reading guide of your bloodwork for 49 euro.
What you get
Upload your lab report (PDF, JPG, photo of the paper, doesn't matter). We OCR it, compare each value against optimal and lab-normal, and build a personal fifteen-to-twenty-page report back to you.
Inside, we don't read thirty isolated markers. We read the patterns between them. Low ferritin plus low transferrin saturation while hemoglobin still looks normal is early-stage iron deficiency, before classic anemia shows up on a blood count. Normal CRP combined with elevated platelets can be an early low-grade inflammatory signal before the usual marker rises. We surface the story the isolated numbers hide.
Per pattern, you get an action menu ordered by impact, retest timing per marker (ferritin at eight to twelve weeks on supplementation, vitamin D at twelve weeks, TSH at eight on borderline), and three concrete questions to bring to your next doctor visit. We don't replace your doctor. We make that conversation sharper.
Culturally fitting
Your background matters in the suggestions we make. Moroccan-Belgian with gut complaints? We surface Sidi Harazem mineral water and m'rqa-without-onion-and-garlic in the suggestions fitting your tradition. Belgian-Belgian? Spa Reine and bouillon without culture-specific framing. Non-fitting advice costs nothing but a click; culture-fitting advice actually gets followed.
Unit safety as a feature
OCR is mostly accurate on digital lab screenshots, but on scan-PDFs from older lab systems a unit can be misread, for instance ng/mL read as mg/mL, a factor-1000 difference. Our pipeline catches these cases, flags them red in the confirm step, and blocks save until you've corrected or confirmed the value. A 17.4 ng/mL severely deficient Vitamin D never becomes a 17.4 mg/mL absurd-high number in your report.
Plain language
Anorectal manometry. Calprotectin. Acute-phase reactant. Every medical term that appears in your re-read gets translated to plain language in a glossary at the end. The reader is you, not the forwarder, not the specialist.
Retest comparison for returning uploaders
Pay once, upload as often as you have new values. Each new panel doesn't just get a fresh re-read of your current values, you also get a comparison layer. Per marker a trajectory line: ferritin from 23 to 65 over twelve weeks (improving). CRP from 2.1 to 0.6 (resolving inflammation). TSH stable around 2.9 (no improvement, conversation with your doctor about next step). Score delta vs your previous panel.
Doctors rarely compare your previous panel with the current one unless you ask for it. Here it's standard. Ferritin re-tested every eight to twelve weeks and seeing the delta is how you know whether an approach is working.
What you get for 49 euro
€49
One-off. One lab report, one full re-read, plus unlimited re-runs whenever you have new values, as long as you stay with us. Functional Blood Insight is a reading guide we keep updated against your latest panel, with the retest comparison layer from your second panel onwards. No subscription, no follow-on fees, no per-upload charge.
Compare it to a private functional-medicine consult (120 to 300 euro plus travel plus availability), to a US online lab-interpretation platform (without Belgian-Dutch reference frames or culturally fitting suggestions), or to a plain lab report without the functional layer. Functional Blood Insight sits at the highest value-for-price in that comparison.
No cure. No treatment prescription. A reading guide. A doctor always has the final say, that's their work; our work is to get you to that conversation with more grip.
We don't diagnose. We don't prescribe. Our role is to read your values sharply, show patterns, and flag what's missing, so you walk into the next doctor visit better prepared. This product falls under Belgian-Dutch regulation for information services in the health sector, not medical advice.
